"...the best I have seen and I was therefore delighted..." January 18, 2022 12:29

My order of the two sweatshirts with thistle arrived yesterday.  I would like to say that the two sweatshirts are beautifully made – the best I have seen and I was therefore delighted.

 

The larger one was for my son Angus who, I had hoped, would have it in time to take away on his holiday.  The small town in which he takes his holidays is on a beautiful beach and was one of the ones on the south coast of New South Wales the worst hit by the bush fires of two years ago.  It has not been possible to receive visitors for the last two summers owing to the devastation and destruction, so he is looking forward very much to meeting up with friends there this summer.  The days are beautiful, but the evenings can drop to 18 degrees and so a jersey is useful.  I shall send it on to him.

 

Must away – the cricket is about to start.  (Oops, sorry about that).
